Hawzah News Agency –According to Ali Zarrabi, manager of the Digital Library of Astan Quds Razavi, bringing the system into operation, all sections of the central library and affiliated centers along with 57 more libraries will be managed collectively. Also, all economic, cultural, and academic affiliations of Astan Quds Razavi will have access to library deposits through this newly unveiled system.
Noting that the new system is not going to weaken local management of each library, Zarrabi referred to avoidance of doing parallel jobs as an advantage of this system. “Offering integrated services to all clients of AQR libraries would be another great advantage of this new system”.
Elsewhere in the opening ceremony, Malek Rahmati, AQR deputy custodian, referred to opportunities of the cyberspace, saying: “Cyberspace platform can be used to introduce books and their deep concepts to raise awareness level and insight of the audience”.
He went on to say: “Imam Reza holy shrine has to be simultaneously attentive to three areas in health domain. The first is physical health which is supplied by good nutrition and exercise. The second is spiritual health which is found when doing praying or having resort to Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Finally, the third is mental health which needs special attention to books and book-reading”.
It is reminded that central library of Imam Reza holy shrine has got 168 thousand manuscripts and lithographic copies of books as well as over one million print books. Also, AQR has 57 affiliated libraries that render services to people across the country.
